Our Services
We Design Houses. We are a Housing First Studio dedicated to housing design. We bring our expertise as registered Architects, registered Passive House Designers and Certified Conservation Architects to serve your housing, restoration and extension needs.
As principal, Greg Jackson, MRIAI, has decades experience in the delivery of housing from the simplest extension through innovative one-off housing and multi housing developments. As a certified Conservation Architect Grade 3, he has delivered some wonderful period home restoration projects. He has also used his Passive House designer certification to design some of the most innovative and efficient homes in Ireland.

Passive House Design Service
Make it Passive.
We are Registered as Passive House Designers with the Passive House Institute in Germany. Jackson Architects have brought some of the most innovative building technologies to Ireland including Ireland’s first 100% Cross Laminated Timber (Solid Timber Panels) house which offers higher U-Values and sequesters carbon. It is digitally fabricated in Austria and was erected on site in 83 hours.
Restore & Refurbish

As RIAI Registered Conservation Architects (Grade 3) we have the requisite skills and experience to work on projects that are protected structures or located in an Architectural Conservation Area. All such projects require planning regardless of the project size and the Planning authorities generally prefer the work be prepared by an Architect with a Conservation grade.
Property Development

Perhaps you have a large site or a house on a large site and are looking to develop to release value. Greg has an MBA and has completed and supported many developments especially for first time developers. In addition to the normal Architectural services we provide feasibility analysis and finance sources and help manage the process in an orderly way. Baugruppe (Building Groups)
Build Together
We use the term ‘Citizen Development’ to describe a process whereby a group of like minded people come together to buy a site and develop houses fro themselves. It started in Germany where it is called ‘Baugruppe’ (literally ‘Building Groups’). It is not self build…you don’t end up doing the paining!! Rather you save up to 30% on the developer’s profit and marketing while creating something bespoke for a group of like minded individuals. Everyone owns their own home.
